Dear minister and counselor, your role is sacred. You are not just offering advice—you are shaping lives, healing hearts, and guiding destinies under the influence of the Holy Spirit. In this delicate assignment, remember that any counsel that protects men while painting women as villains, or that shields women while portraying men as monsters, is not rooted in the Spirit of Christ. God is not biased. His justice is not tilted. His truth is not selective.
In every counseling session, seek the wisdom of the Spirit—not the weight of societal narratives. The enemy loves extremes. He whispers imbalance into the ears of those who should stand for truth, and soon, victims become further wounded and wrongdoers go uncorrected. You are called to be a voice of healing, not a hammer of bias. Don’t assume. Don’t take sides. Take God’s side.
So, dear counselor, fight for balance. Counsel with compassion but also with courage. Let your words be seasoned with grace and anchored in truth. Ask the hard questions. Confront the hidden pain. Challenge the wrong in both genders. Healing happens where honesty and love meet, not where one is exalted and the other is erased. The ministry of counsel is not about choosing a side—it’s about leading both sides to Christ.
