DEAR MINISTER'S, EMBRACE DUE PROCESS

Every divine call follows a process: encounter, training, testing, and finally, manifestation. Galatians 1:15–18 shows how even Paul, after his calling, went into Arabia for a season of preparation before stepping into full ministry. Likewise, Luke 3:23 reminds us that Jesus waited until age 30 before His public manifestation. Ministers must understand that hidden seasons are not a waste but God’s way of shaping character, deepening intimacy with Him, and building endurance for the weight of the assignment.

Preparation is crucial because training seasons are for transformation, not promotion. The wilderness, as seen in Scripture, is part of God’s curriculum to prune pride, teach obedience, and develop spiritual stamina. Many ministers struggle because they attempt to skip these processes, stepping into public ministry prematurely and unprepared. Acts 13:1–3 illustrates how commissioning comes after proven faithfulness in hidden service and yieldedness to the Spirit. When we embrace God’s timing, we mature into vessels fit for lasting impact.

Reflect on your own journey: What phase are you currently in? How do you handle seasons of delay, obscurity, or even rejection? For your assignment, prayerfully identify your current season and write down three lessons God is teaching you through it. Remember, every great calling is forged in the secret place before it is revealed on the public stage. Ministers who rush ahead may shine briefly but burn out quickly; those who wait on God’s timing become enduring voices for His kingdom.
